Sometimes I wonder how aesthetics can possibly cope with themselves and not believing in a greater power, or for that matter, believing in something that has merely been developed by in-perfect humans, without even striving to believe in something they can discover for themselves. I am not a huge fan of church, nor am I a big fan of anything like church, though I very strongly believe in a greater power. It is not nearly enough for me to listen to a human coach me on how to find this “God” or greater power, or even worse, tell me what is right or wrong in the eyes of the greatest one. I am not very religious either, and though I do have tolerance for most religions, I do this is where I feel they went wrong, especially when striving to pull new blood into their circle. We have all be born with are own minds, hearts, conscience, and should be able to do whatever we feel with them. Unlike learning how to use your legs, arms, hands, and other physical things, our heart, mind, and conscience, are probably the main parts of our body that function 100% differently from those of our friends, families, culture, etc. Therefore, only we (ourselves) can teach ourselves how to use them. These things are precious to every human, and when told how to use them, or that they’re not functioning correctly, is something that can drive even the most open person on the planet away.
