When Dawn Escapes

And in the blink of an eye, the peaceful Dawn that once crept in during the rise of this new era, is now dead. Brutally blinded by a force much more sinister, much more sharp in it’s ways – much more beckoning. It is hypnotizing, it’s peak will leave you in a trance that shall leave you alone and exposed as the darkness begins to fall upon the land, where creatures and beings of the night leave their refuge and become one with moonbeams. It is from this force that I saw the future, and decided to ignore what was to come. It is where my journey to learn all that I am began, and where darkened echo’d sleeps and shaking’s took over this vessel of mine. The Twilight is a time of impending doom, a glimpse into the bleak future that awaits in the dark, the first glance at a fall that is to come. It is a time where wars take place, and where this one will take place.

My running has long since come to a cease, for the darker shadows which seek to destroy all that I am have been following my every step for ages. And now, I alone will fight this fight, for these forces are of my own to destroy.  Their knives have begun to be thrown as they still tail from a distance. Nicked by the edges of these blades, my body has begun to falter. For healing is no longer my strong suit, as I have lost much throughout these eras I grow weaker every passing day. The remaining strength that I channel must soon reach an all-time high, for one last time if I am to make it through this war; and while the golden beams that pierce these vast lands act as a beacon towards my next Sanctuary, I know that soon they will be gone – for a night much darker than any night I have known is soon to come.
